Ingredients
Steps
Strain the lemon juice through a sieve to catch any pulp, then pour it into a pitcher.
Stir in the sugar until it dissolves completely.
Pour in the first two cups of cold water. This is your lemonade base. It will keep in the fridge for several days, though it tastes best in the first two.
To make a finished pitcher of lemonade, add ice and 1/2 to 1 cup more cold water, depending on how you like it.
For a glass of fizzy lemonade, pour the base over ice until the glass is 2/3 to 3/4 full, then top it off with seltzer.
